We bought a corn snake about 7 weeks ago. He was fairly small. Not too old I don't think. My husband brought him in, opened the box and he was gone. We looked with no luck. About a week later, my oldest daughter started screaming on a car ride. The snake crawled out of her booster seat. She held him while I pulled over. I had no where to keep him that he couldn't escape besides my purse. We we're driving to Canada, so he spent a few hours in there. I think he got stressed from that. My husband says it was probably the week in the van. So anyway, I drove to the pet shop where we were going and bought a small cage and 2 pinkies. I tried to feed him that day. He didn't eat. He shedded that night. I tried 2 days later, no luck again. We then headed home and put him in the tank with our other corn snakes. We've been attempting to feed every week when we feed the others, but he wont. We've tried his own tank even incase he was intimidated by the others. He's shed 2 or 3 times now from getting smaller. He was black, now he's grayish from going pale. My husband thinks he's going to die. Is there any hope at this point he'll eat? We've tried pinkies and feeder fish.
