Snake pooped on me... or is it musk?

I fed my corn 29 hours ago and brought him out today. He was slithering around happily on my chest when he stopped for a moment (but that's normal for him, from what I've seen). I heard this sort of 'popping' sound and i noticed he had spurted a brown-clear liquid on my chest that had the consistency of egg whites, and along with it came some brown lumps that appeared to be feces. It smelled horrible. He's never done this before, and I've never seen him defecate (only after it's dried) so I'm really not sure if this was poop or musk.

Also, what could have caused this? Was it just the handling (I hear that can encourage them to go).

Sounds like regular poop! A snake will usually only musk if they feel threatened.

I usually give my snakes 48 hours to digest after eating before I handle them. They usually have full bowels if I handle them at that time and the exercise usually will cause them to poop, so I either keep a paper towel handy (and when they stop moving suddenly and raise their tail, then you know they're about to go) or I take them outside on the grass to poop.

I give my snakes 72 hours as well. I actually check for feces around 48 and 72 hour marks to make sure she is not having any issues with her meals.
