I was doing some cage cleaning and thought I would take my camera with me. I snapped some pics of momma whiteside, Domino, and her son that I held back, Mr. Noname. Never came up with a name that suited him. Hope you enjoy! Here's Domino...

Awesome Tammy! I really like the rats, and those white sided are going to be hard ones to wait for.

They both look great! You and Carol are really testing my will power...must resist...

Those are really nice. That look is amazing. If you ever get a hankering to throw momma W. in a box... ;)

Well, sadly enough both momma and son are going to be cut from the collection. Since the black ratsnake is native to Indiana you have to get a permit to breed whitesides. (did not realize this when I recieved one as a Christmas present and the other for Valetine's) If you have 4 or less you are ok, but that would mean with a breeding pair you could only have 2 eggs hatch. Same rules go for the Axanthic, Albino and Lucy black ratsnakes. (really gotta love the law) With a permit also comes the DNR's right to come to your house and see your setup when they feel fit. This is a hobby for me to enjoy, the DNR isn't going to come and go as they please.

I am sorry you have to get rid of them....

but what are you asking for them? They are gorgeous!

LOL...
I just thought they would make great additions to the ones I already have! PLUS...I could probably meet Tammy somewhere since she just lives a few hours away.

I've been trying to figure that out myself. LOL Trying to keep my heart out of the price.

I've also been doing figures in my head...
She's had two clutches, around 8 eggs each
I see people saying babies around $75 each
8 X $75 = $600

LMAO! No, I don't think I'll get that much out of them but it makes you stop and think doesn't it. Guess all I can say at this moment is if you are really interested drop me an email with an offer. The worst I can say is No Thank You. The best I could say is "Let's figure out a shipping date". :)
