Oh, I absolutely adore her. She went from being a bitey little bit#$ to being a puppy dog. I don't really care too much what her genetic history is. I love her because of the way she looks and her attitude. If those looks and that attitude is caused by an hybridized genetic history...so be it. I'm not prejudiced...I AM curious, however. I see the same thing you see, in that her markings are unlike anything I have seen in other floridana. Dean also mentioned this to me when I first posted pictures of her.
It doesn't really matter, too much. I will probably get one or two clutches from her, if only because the store I got her from promised to buy any "extra" offspring of hers should I decide to breed her. I am more concerned with the genetic histories of my cornsnakes. I am buying all of my future cornsnakes based on their genetics specifically for breeding, so it is fairly necessary to have as complete a genetic history as possible. With my kings...they are strictly pets, and I won't be doing any serious breeding programs with them, so...I don't really care, to be honest.
She is, at this point, my most confident snake. I say that because she is the first one to pop her head out and scope me when I walk in the room. And she is the only one that doesn't run for cover as soon as she sees me. She's my little puppy dog, for sure. And, of course, this makes her one of the first I go to when I want to hold a snake. She is simply an awesome pet...my little lap dog, as it were...
