Some new corn worms

HerpsOfNM

My name's Blurryface...
Short and simple...

I got a few new corns from Mitchell Mulks a couple weeks back and I've been holding out on getting photos of them until a few other critters made it this way. Those few others are some Snicker Snakes (Nanci) and they made the trip from FL to NM today.

The "photos or it didn't happen" segment...

Thanks to Mitchell and Nanci for the wonderful snakes! Steve Roylance has a playmate for 2 of the Mitchell critters once it's paid off, and pics of it to come once here. :dgrin:

Really nice group there! I didn't know Nanci was hiding those Miami motley pins. :(

Those Anery A's are looking good too. Some people don't like the yellow on the neck, but I like the contrast.

I've been holding everyone back and enjoying them for a while. Chris managed to ferret these out pretty much upon hatching, and added them in so the little Okeetee wouldn't be lonely in her shipping box!

They are all great! I was trying to pick one or two that I liked the most but that just wasn't gonna happen...I do have to say however that second pinstripe motley Miami from Nanci is pretty much drool worthy! Not that the rest aren't either though, great looking babies!

Thank you! I picked Girl D as my keeper, but every time I looked at C it was like, maybe I chose the wrong one??? :) There are three left with slightly interrupted pinstripes that need to be photographed and put in a For Sale thread, some day...

Lovely additons. Those Miami motley pins are awesome! I want some now, haha

Thank you. I have a problem with leopard geckos -- I love striped/jungle leos. I feel this problem is a problem with corns too, to some extent. The exception is I'm not too crazy about "blotched" motleys. I prefer the ones with some striping mixed in with the pattern. These 2 boogers DEFINITELY fit the bill.

Great babies! That ice is so beautiful.

I have to admit, I wasn't crazy on the ice. Mitchell twisted my arm. :wavey: I don't know what I want to pair him with and he's presented me with a new photographic challenge in nailing his white balance (accurate coloration) and still showing proper eye color (his eye color is off in the headshot pic).

Awwwww how cute!!! I could'nt say which one is much more beauty !!!
The miami' s are real nice!!

I'm not certain which I'm more excited for, the Okeetee or the Miamis' ontogenetic color change.

I love the first one and the butterstripe!

The butter stripe is a possible question mark. My wife likes him and his mom (also a butter stripe). He could also be a tessera. Don Soderberg feels it's a possibility since even he's not fully comfortable with how tessera and stripe play with one another. A couple other folks, and myself think he's just a butter stripe. Either way he's staying here.

I wish I could have you photograph everyone!! They look great!

February Arlington, TX NARBC....I'll bring my camera gear, softbox and lights. You bring the snakes. Afterwards we can torture Don S. for some palmettos.

I like the look of the yellowing when you toss Lava into the mix. Some pretty snakes over on Ian's Viv.

Wow that's a gorgeous collection!!! All stunners great photos too.

Thank you.

WHOA WHOA WHOA...hey now LOL....

I just thought out loud, on your thread. :D

Between your okeetee hatelings and this pairing...

...I need to get back to a better paying job. :awcrap:

There's room in the box...

how much does this room in the box cost? LOL :crazy01:

(I mentally hear my wife in my head stabbing me):noevil:

Thank you. Between Nanci, Steve I-breed-my-corns-in-the-winter Roylance (dead horse, what?! :p), and Mitchell I'm officially tapped out until NARBC. My "reptile" wallet is going into brumation, only to emerge for supplies.

You should keep D and E. I think E's pattern is going to be fun as she matures. I like D's better connected spear point and striping.

hehehehe...I'll freeze it in a 6 inch thick block of ice. That should keep my budget freeze frozen. :)

Honestly though, after I pay off Steve and Mitch, and pending if Don has 1 component I'm after come NARBC...the next corn purchase is go big or go home. If you know what I mean.

Shhhhhh...I already have some snakes Bob is so kindly looking after for me while I wait for an import (that seriously has to be coming soon, if my guy gets his butt in gear LOL)...DO NOT tempt me!! Oh how I love me a nice Miami...
