Some new snake pictures! (DUW)

Carinata

Ever Evolving Exotics
I may have A LOT of AFTs, and I may breed them. But snakes still lay closest to my heart. I have 7 and plan on buying a few more this summer. Maybe a Terrazzo or Tessera.I know I am getting a Hypo King Ratsnake and hopefully some VERY rare Ratsnakes. And I would like a Woma too.
Here are some pictures from cleaning day.
I am a bit biased but I think my VBB is one of the nicest ones out there. His contrast is simply amazing!

Gorgeous snakes, as usual, David! Especially love the beauties.

And, I'm with you--recently discovered womas (an adult at LPS, total sweetie) and now MUST have one. Great size, great temperament, all around great feel, and beautiful. Deeply, deeply in love--and my dad is, too, lol! Now I just have to ace my interview next week and get a job so I can afford the dang thing. lol!

Looks like Jasmine has the same mean looking peepers that bull snakes have.
King Rats are like bigger meaner bullsnakes!
Nice pics as allways.
Thanks bro!

I always liked Womas, we have some at work and I love them! Such cool snakes! If I hadn't just made a gecko order that I could have bought 3 womas with I would have one! LOL!

The one in the second pic I find absolutely stunning. Love that orange color and the contrast.

I want a woma too! Almost got one instead of my carpet...

BTW, what does AFT stand for?

African Fat-Tail Gecko. I really like breeding the AFTs. But I honestly like keeping snakes rather than breeding them.

What you call a Vietnamese Blue Beauty doesn't look very blue.....reminds me more of a Taiwan Beauty...

Really? Are you saying it's a Taiwan Beauty. Because I assure you it's not. I have a Taiwan Beauty, much girthier and more yellow.

Well I'm sure your 'rents' would luv to know you let a snake crawl all over their kitchen counter. Nice snakes though.

Basically, my step-mom says the snakes can stay as long as she doesn't have to see them. So I have a herp room in my little apartment like basement. But I always clean the counters when I'm done letting them crawl around on there. She never knows!

Well if I were the renters I would be pretty upset to know snakes were crawling on my counters and not know it. :sidestep:

David, what she was saying is that the VBB in the first picture doesn't look very blue. Which I have to agree. I've seen some at shows around the same age as yours that are MUCH more blue. I don't think I'd be calling it one of the best out there. The Taiwan in the second picture is nice, too.

Great pictures. Glad to see you're still handy with the camera.

I agree the VBB isn't very blue, but they still look nice!

I swear, one of these days I'm getting me a 1.2 group of VBBs.

For a '10 he is very blue compared to ones I have seen. VBB's don't start blue, they start olive and turn blue. I have seen some nice ones at shows too, usually animals that are over a year old, this guy was born in the summer of '10. He's still a baby.

I took another pic of him last night while I was cleaning his water bowl and giving him another fake plant

Ours is two and looks a lot like David's. Not very blue yet, but I'm hopeful that she will color out as she seems to get more of a blue tint with each passing shed. No matter what, she is still our most active snake and really quite a neat animal to own. Great display snake.

Yeah, I was only saying it didn't look blue. I have two friends that have VBB's and theirs are much more blue than that first picture and they're not even adults yet, one of them is just a baby.
