hey everybody, I don't really get to show off my drawings, so now that I've figured out how to upload images I thought I would share. I draw mostly portraits, but I also love to draw snakes as well, though I did'nt take any pictures of those drawings yet. Mabe I will if anyone shows interest.
First off is NBA star Lebron James, CLE's forward

2nd is NBA star Chris Paul, NO's point guard

last is my favorite musical artist Tupac Shakur

I hope you enjoy, feel free to leave feedback.

Wow - I'm no critic, but you've got some talent there! Perhaps the hair is a little bit blockly on the forehead in the second picture, but maybe it's supposed to be that way! All in all great work!

Trust me...CP3's hair really looks like that! I knew exactly who it was before scrolling past the eyes. Nice work!

:bowdown: WOW, Those are very impressive. You have definitely got real Talent. Please take some pics of you snake drawings. Can't wait to see them. and once again I bow down to your talent.:bowdown:

Thank all of you very much, I unfortunately don't get to show my drawings off too much, and I'm very happy that you guys like them. I will be sure to post more drawings of my corn snakes, and feel free to print them and color them in when I do, it's alot of fun. I don't have a buisness, but I tried coming up with designs that involved corn snakes just in case. Usually I don't get people who know who I'm drawing, so I really really appreciate your compliments.

WOW, very good. And I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked you to make a cornsnake logo for THEIR business... I know I'M interested 0_0. Your drawings really are fantastic!

Those are really nice! I never could draw people. Horses, raptors, dogs- sure. Never people.

thank you guys again, I was unsure how people would react, but I'm so happy people are interested. I have thought about doing other peoples logos, if they asked. I've even thought of maybe taking my drawings to a reptile show one day, hopefully to trade, or sell logos, prints, or custom orders of peoples pet snakes. Just a thought, we'll see. But I really appreciate everyone's very nice compliments, and I'll be sure to post some snakes in the future.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING..... My ex is an artist and I tell you, he would be impressed with your work. I know that I am... Keep up the good work

WOW!

You are very talented! I don't know anything about sports stars, and how they look, so can't compare your drawings to the specific people they represent. However, they look great as drawings of people.

Let's see some reptile drawings! If I had talent like that, I would definitely incorporate it into my business. Why don't you do a calendar or some cute Christmas cards with corns, and try to sell a few on the classifieds here, and on other sites? You probably won't make a fortune, but maybe you could make a little profit, and learn about doing it as a business for the future. Maybe you could design something and put it on Cafe Press, so you wouldn't have any expense.

Hope to see more!

Beautiful pictures. I can color things, but I don't draw well. If you make a calendar I would buy one. Bet others would too.

thank you, actually I am currently doing illustrations for a coloring book right now. Also I am giving lessons to my vetinarian's son, to help with vet bills. The illustrations are for a woman named Linda Krulikowski, and I am drawing from the photographs in her book "Snakes of New England". She is one of the nicest people I've met, and she has asked me to just do the drawings, she has the publisher etc..
I unfortunately don't draw as much as I should, but reading all of the very nice posts has inspired me to start drawing much more. I'll dedicate this weekend to drawing some of my corn snakes, and I will let my wonderful fans here be the first to see them. Feel free to print them when I do, but I might put some form of copyright just incase someone tries to use it for their buisness. Not that I'm trying to sound snobby, I would love people to print for coloring, keeping etc.. it's just that my grandfather has had some instinces where people have stolen his "intellectual property", and sold the images on bookmarks, prints, and so on.

Yes, my hubby is a photographer. He sometimes permits the free use of photos for scientific papers or other non-profit or personal use. But if somebody plans to use it for profit, then the photographer or artist should get SOMETHING (whatever is decided upon) in compensation. A lot of people don't seem to understand that.

I know nothing about art, only what I like..... And I like.....
You do seem to have a talent.... Do you draw anything else.... Snakes perhaps... ;)

Mike,

Glad to see that we have inspired you to draw more then you are. DON'T waste your talent. It is so rarely seen.
