I just got tickets to see George Strait! I didn't get the floor, but I got the lower level (I'm just glad to be able to see him). I know to some seeing a concert may not count as "really good news", but to me it does. I have loved GS all of my life, and he has almost always been my favorite. His songs have gotten me through some of the darkest times in my life. I've always tried to look up to him, so one could say that he is a role model for me.
Thus, to me this is a really big deal! I haven't been able to make it to prior concerts due to financial difficulties, but I'm making it to this one! (I told myself before that no matter what price, I'm getting the best seat that I can and figure out how to make it work (even if it meant ramen for the next 6 months)). And I got a spot ^.^!!!!!! I haven't been this excited/happy for something in a long time! (True I'm excited for Tinley, but not near this level).
Anyways, I thought I would share some good news. I'm so excited, I have to tell everyone. ^.^
