Sooooooo i need some ideas!!!

CULEBRA85

JUST ANOTHER JOSH!!! LOL
I know this is a cornsnake forum...buuuuuttt....i need ideas....i have an extra 10g tank that in not using and for now im done with my corn collection until i can buy another rack.....soooo i want ideas of any small snakes that i can fit a 1.1 pair in the 10g tank and not have to get a bigger tank as they grow...meaning they need to be able to cohabit and not grow too big....Sooo any ideas? :D

I don't think I'd cohab...but maybe a male Kenyan sand boa, they typically stay pretty small. A female, on the other hand, might end up getting a wee too big for a 10 gallon

Maybe a Whip Snake? There are also quite small Rosy Boas.
Not too big of fan of the coach wips, but i do like rosys actually im a big fan.....can i have a 1.1 pair in a 10g?

kenyan sand boas too, maybe 3 or 4 in a 10g, they never move
ooo i like kenyans too....thanx

I would say house snakes. I know a guy!
I've seen the house snakes, they dont tickle my fancy....thanx tho...:D

Ill keep that in mind...thanx.

You can't cohab anything in a 10 gallon tank. You should not cohab anything at all. But since you obviously don't want to hear that...just no that no pair of snakes should be kept in such a small cage. Ringnecks maybe...but the cohabbing is still wrong.
Good thing you said no to a house snake...the males stay small...but we had a female housesnake who was over 4 feet long!

Perhaps a pair of real small geckos, like pictus or morning!

I don't cohad any of my snakes, i was only asking if there was any out there that i could. I am well aware of the problems cohabitation can brings, i dont think at any point i said i didnt wanna hear it, i just wanted to know if there was any snakes that wouldn't have problems. So anyways.... i decided to just get a 1.0 rosy boa at repticon this year for my 10g. thanx to all for ur advise...

Look for a male rosy boa- they stay MUCH smaller than the females. You could also consider a male tri-color hognose. Mine is three or four years old and around 200 grams.

Not true! If you find some young Rosys you can split your 10 gallon tank.
Go to Lowe's and ask them to cut a scrap piece of plexi to 9 5/8" X 11 1/2". $1
Pick up a tube of clear silicone. $3
Find the middle of your tank and silicone the plexi in. Let it dry overnight and you have a split 10 gallon tank. Each side is approx. the same floor area of a 6qt tub. You can keep a baby rosy in each side for quite a while.

No problem...these two ended up being two females, and since the breeder didn't have any males left, I brought them back to him for a single Albino Whitewater Female...can't wait to get her a boyfriend! I simply pulled out the divider since I only have the one Rosy for now.
If you do that little mod, make sure you measure...I am 99% sure those are the correct measurements for the divider though.

Search for "Pam Albino Rosy" and find my thread on my new one...she may spark your interest a little more :D
