Sorry to ask (poo question)

Are snakes like rabbits, mice, birds where when you have them out if they have to poo, they are gonna poo on you? Lavagirl isn't a pooing machine, but she's not backed up either. Just curious...

If they have to go while out, then yes, they will. Some are more likely to than others, but there's always a chance. Gotta kind of look for the signs. Suddenly stopping and lifting the tail, and sometimes you can catch the muscle movement (near the vent).

Mine always pooh when they come out ! i have to be quick too as my eldest pooh's allot !!!

its sods law... as soon as they have been out and active they will want to poop !

i have ratty towels and when i see that lump near their "butt" i lay these towels down! LOL

Poo

My Phinius Poo's everytime I take him out 2-3 days after a meal. I always get him out of his viv at that time and I have a cup of lukewarm water and I let him go in and out of the cup and as I hold him without fail he ends up pooping in the water. I think its GREAT, saves on clean up in his tank

Just wait till they get older and start eating hoppers. Then they'll start having "hairy" poop. My amel just had his first hopper about 5 days ago and today there was a big ole hairy poop in the viv. Maybe I should rename him "Hairy Pooper" (I'm a fan of Harry Potter)
