I hate these dang things! My neighbor came over and I spotted this bad girl spinning her web so I grabbed the camera. The pictures are not very good, but they're kinda cool. If I had film, I would have dragged out the SLR and tripod. I have no idea what type of arachnid this is, but it gave me the creeps :eek1:

I love spiders, too. Not so much in the house- but out where they belong. I like the really black and white pics the best.

Those are some very cool pictures though.
 
I love the shot of the full web (or nealy full) It looks like something out of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Can't help you with the type of spider, cause I don't really care for them or for looking for more pics of them, but it looks kind of flat in that last pic - almost tick like or crab-like. *shrugs* Not much help I know. lol
