Squishy Lump Under Neck

About a week ago I saw a little lump on my corn snake. I've been looking through forums and everything and thought it may be due to stress (we had a bad storm). It has gotten bigger now, though, and I'm worried. I was reading again tonight and I think it could be retained water under her neck, but I'm really not sure. It's squishy and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She just ate and is about to shed. Her poo was normal and everything, but she has the lump under her neck. I'm uploading pictures to show what I'm talking about and was wondering if anyone else can relate to this problem. I'm calling the vet tomorrow anyway, but was wondering if I should be concerned.

One of my ratsnakes had a similar issue. See THIS thread. Mine actually had an abrasion that caused an abscess.

We never figured out what caused it, but the antibiotic and frequent cleanings took care of it. I would definitely have her seen by your vet.

Hope everything turns out okay, and please keep us posted.

Well she didnt die,
Shes doing a lot better now after I posted this post and called like 8 different vets I came home and she was a lot better no lump and she shed so I am wondering if maybe if it was just because she was about to shed? or possible stressed out not sure I am just happy she is doing a lot better now

One time right before a shed my adult snow got a lump under her throat. It also went away after she shed. Now at the time she was battling a bad skin infection. But even now her throat can be a bit poofy before a shed.
