Whats the next size up from a fuzzy? I thought it was mice but the mice the pet store showed me were huge. I can barely see a lump when Lucy eats her fuzzy now, can't see one at all if its a smallish one. After today I'm gonna start her on 2 fuzzies. She's shedding once a month, sometimes every 3 weeks. She's drinking well and feeding well, temps are all normal. She's looking great. I think she's ready to move up, but is there anything between a fuzzy and a mouse?
 
Giving two smaller fuzzies next is what I do, then order some hoppers and switch to one of the smaller hoppers after a few meals of two fuzzies.

The problem is that not all the mice of a particular size range (like fuzzies) are the same size. You kinda got to eyeball the snake, and the available feeders and pick ones that are about 1 1/2 times the thickness of the snake.

Not too hard with only one or two snakes, but somewhat of a pain with a bunch of them.

The order kind of depends on where you live. For instance, there are no crawlers here. Just thought I'd point that out in case some people get confused and think they missed a stage. :shrugs:
 
I wouldn't feed two fuzzies then switch to hoppers. Two fuzzies is actually a bigger meal than one hopper.
