I almost ran over this Musk turtle with my car yesterday. I think I may have actually brushed him with my tire, because when I looked in my rear view mirror I saw him rolling on the road. I pulled over to make sure he was OK. He was really POed, but looked all right. After about .0000478 seconds of thought, I decided to bring him home. Had to make sure he didn't have a concussion or anything (yeah, that's the ticket!).

CUTE pics! Good job on avoiding him. The last bull snake I caught I nearly ran over. Just about took his head off. He pulled it in and I swerved just in time. I thought for sure I had killed him. I was SO relieved to find that I hadn't when I turned around and went back. Just scares the b-jeezus out of you, doesn't it?

Lily is freaking adorable.
