i currently have my month and a half old on paper towls... when is a good time to switch them over to aspen?... hes about 15 inches long and ive only had him for a week and 1 day.... hes finally eatin and i dont know when would be a good time to put aspen in there.... i heard babies can get splinters and things of the sort... any info would be appreciated.. thnx

Now would be fine. I've been using Aspen since I've had my snake(2 months) and never had a problem. He seems to like it a bunch. He has a tunnel system built under it. He has so many I think he might be part gopher. :crazy02:

If you had problems with him you may want to wait a few more feedings before switching over.. i fed mine 3 times before going to the aspen.. just in case. That way you can keep track of their poo, although i had no trouble finding his poo this morning in teh aspen.

Now we are talking about an animal that lives on the ground. Slithers thru the dirt, mud, what not. I dont think splinters will be much of a problem.
