All nice but the ghost stripe is a knockout…. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Orlando. Speaking of nice, I need to hit you up for some kastanies.

Thanks Tye. I like how they almost mirror their parents.
No I didn't. I see steve is sold completly out of all those "Ugly Over Priced Snakes" at the moment.....:eek1:
What will you plan to breed him too ??
The Miami Tessera situation is going very good so far.
She laid a total of 23 eggs (21 fertiles / 2 infertiles) on 4-22, so it will be a little while before I see noses.
I'm REALLY keeping fingers crossed she is carrying the Amel gene unknowingly
Here is a couple shots of progress so far.

:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!
Not bad, not bad at all! If all goes well I picked up a female RO Tessera last year from a local pet shop when I still lived in NM. Some guy out in Tucumcari, NM had a pair and the shop owner claimed his wife or girlfriend said they had to go. I actually picked up the pair, but sold the male to a friend (a long differently similar story). The female RO Tess is
supposedly het ghost, so I plan to test that.
She's pushing about 25-26 inches now, just a tad longer than her sterilite blanket box. I think she'll be of size by end of season. I'm pushing her, but not in a hard way. The male ghost stripe may not be ready until 2016 unless he hits one of those freakish, sudden growth spurts.
Speaking of eggs, mama butter stripe, aka Chiquita, just laid 14 eggs -- better than the 3 I got last year. She had 2 on the ground when I left this morning. I just got home about 45 minutes ago and moved them to the 'bator. Hopefully out of 14 there will be a butter tessera, maybe a butter stripe tessera? :shrugs:
BTW, Steve's not completely sold out, I just owe him 6 benjamins. Then he's sold out, save whatever he held back.
Great update!! I love seeing my babies after they leave home...
I love seeing your babies in my home, but between you, Steve, Mitch, Don, and now BHB my wallet does not.

I see no gartersnake x madras this year? But did I see peppermint stripes? I'll have to go spy in your forum again.
Not as clean as I'd like, but I think that'll require better lighting or a 3rd flash, both of which take away from herp money. Yet adds to my photography. Hmmmmm. :crazy01: Thank you though!
