Thought this was interesting to share with all of you....

Breeding: Classic het Kastanie blood, Sunkissed (Original breeding was Kastanie Blood x Sunkissed)

1. Hatched date - 6/21/2013 @ SMR Facility. Picture taken by Don.

The neonates are label as: Kastanie/yellow, Sunkissed/Green, Sunkissed Kastanie (Anery-like)/White

2. August 2013

3. November 2013

4. January 2014

5. As of today......Interesting how the orange color becomes more prominent in the cranial/proximal 1/3 of the body.

Another interesting note.....There is so much phenotypic variability when it comes to Kastanie mutations that colors can be even more attractive.

Here is a picture from my friend - Holger (some of you have seen it before).

Happy Easter!

I like them both, but yours it really nice, it would be my choice if I had to choose; amazing how much they change! I am certainly in the market for some Kastanies this year.

WOW! Love the colors on this one! Don had one similar on his SOTD but he wasn't sure of the Kastanie part for some reason. Looked similar to yours so it prob was or atleast het for kastanie.
Does Kastanie fade the blacks or is that the sunkissed?
