Superbowl Predictions????

I say....the game could get cancelled and I wouldn't care.

Pro football just wasn't interesting this year.

OK, now that the game is over....

.....which commercial spots were the winners?

My vote is for the careerbuilder.com series of spots with the chimps.

Honorable mention goes to the Lay's Potato Chip spot - anyone throwing M.C. Hammer back over the fence wins my heart.

jazz
(yanno, either chat is gonna have to come back up soon, or Rich is going to need to pass out the equivalent of chat-methedone...)

I'm definitely with you on the commercials...although the Anheiser-Busch commercial with the Soldiers coming home through the airport and everyone starts cheering for them and saying thank you was VERY touching...I must say.

Nice to see a large corporation spending a couple MILLION of their advertising budget on something that really has a heartfelt meaning.

And the Patriots didn't WIN...Philly lost...
I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots voted McNabb as their best player and MVP...

He should have worn white...so his teammates would know whose side he was on...

Dang, good call on the Anheuser-Busch ad. That was a moving ad.

I guess my first observations were strictly for the "funny" factor. Including that ad, I'd put it at second, ahead of the Lay's spot.

jazz

I BET EAGLES LOSE hahahahahahaha and im from philly but the superbowl is over, find the iorny in that? hahahahahahahhahah

LOL Derek, I'm with you on that point. It was a close call for sure. Though I'm a Dolphins fan myself, I have to root for SOMEBODY that will win once in a while! HA HA
I actually liked the one for the cell company, (can't remember which one) with the chimp talking into the banana "Can you hear me now?" LOL

I thought the best one was the one where the woman comes home to see the guy look like he's in the process of killing the cat. I have no idea what the ad was for, but it was the only one that really made me laugh out loud.

I gotta say, though the MC Hammer ones were kind of funny too, especially the "15 minutes later" repossession one.

So, does anyone know what happened to that one player (can't remember what team) that ended up walking off the field early on in the game? In the replay it looked like his arm got snapped back, like he dislocated his arm or broke his collarbone or something.
