Twang'em into trees!
Got some time to waste? Good, waste a little of it here. :crazy02:

Ok, so I've seen some corn heads with some designs that I think are just clever, although they're designs that we "see" into them. With that stated, since seeing some of these "designer" heads :p , I've been looking at my own corns' heads, hoping to see some kind of funny design...alas, much to my dismay, nary a one...until my lovely Fraulein Schnee came along this past Sun. My boyfriend & I disagree as to what the design on her head looks like. I say a dragonfly or the design from The Crow, he says it looks like the Batman beacon (and maybe we're both just nutz for wondering!). What do you think?

I see the letter H. Maybe she is a very clever corn who has labelled her body parts so others don't forget which end is which?!

Yea, the letter H is there. I also do see some sort of wings...not sure if it looks more like a dragonfly or batman.

But whatever it is...she has a very cool head!

Yeah, I saw the H too...*sigh* I was just deliberately ignoring that because I was looking for something so much more creative, I guess...oh, well, at least she knows 1/26 of her alphabet. :p

Aaack! What on earth?! I'm a Virgo & this poll is now giving me a complex: I'm supposed to be right! :p Yeah, both the boyfriend (R) & I saw the H on Schnee's head, but we were looking at the little design right below it...there's no way possible that I can tell him that you all agree with him because that will give him a complex then as he's a Libra and he tries to think that everyone is somewhat right. :p

At least Schnee is froehlich: she's happy that everyone thinks that she's sehr schoen. ;)

I can see the manta ray, but it needs to have the "wings" more extended for that. But nice head and tail of a manta, yes.

Maybe if I flip her head...:p

(I think that I'm experiencing some pre-school year anxiety at the thought of returning by actually continuing on with this thread... :crazy02: )

Then it looks like an owl, with a spike coming out of its head, holding up its wings like a choir director...

Oooh, I see what you mean! :) Rightside up or flipped, I was kind of getting a laugh out of it because I was kinda seeing the American Eagle from the Muppets, with his wings spread...which naturally cracked me up...too bad that Schnee isn't sky blue...:)

It's swimming, Nanci! They don't just keep their "wings" fully extended all the time! My dream is to catch a ride on a manta ray . . . I love them, love them, love them.

I've gotten to swim with spotted eagle rays a bunch of times- they are the next best thing! Some friends of mine got married in Bonaire- they got to see a manta ray, but I missed it...

I think that I stepped on some kind of ray, accidentally of course...

I was on the eastern side of the Yucatan Peninsula (about 60 miles south of Cancun in a little coastal town named Tulum...) & it was around 1 am & some friends and I decided to run into the water up to our knees (ok, picture it: wedding party, July, resort, not exactly sober...you get the idea...). I ran in & all of a sudden I felt something like a rubbery fleshy flattish lump like a large hand under my foot. I shrieked & immediately flew out of that water, renewing my long-standing vow with the gods to never enter uncement-bottomed water above my ankle bone. I got asked if it was a jellyfish, was I stung? No, no...I couldn't tell you what it was, but the group decided it was a ray that'd come to rest and I stepped on it. Good one, Christina.

But, do rays come that far in to the coast? The water was maybe 2' deep...I don't know that much about them, except that they're beautiful and about their tail. And while I'd love to swim with them, it'd have to be in a swimming pool. :p

The H is Batman's head!! Clearly Batman, sorry...

I agree! If someone hatches out an Okeetee with Catwoman on it's head,I've got some cash burning a hole in my pocket!
