Surprised By Eggs

I was cleaning their cage today and, to my surprise, I noticed several eggs. So Im not sure what to do here and need some advice.

I accidentally moved a couple eggs before I knew what they were. I dont want to touch the eggs further until I no what to do. I noticed a couple of the eggs are collapsing a bit while the others are still very round and pink.

I was under the impression both snakes were males. They have lived in the same tank for over 3 years. However, I thought something was strange when one of my corns stopped eating for several weeks. Would this be the female most likely?

Im a little taken a back at the moment and any suggestions on what to do would be great. Thanks,

Jordan

Unless you really want to set up to incubate, hatch, establish and find homes for a surprise clutch, you can put the eggs in a freezer overnight before throwing them away. Then you can separate your snakes as soon as possible and spend time building up the female. It's important to separate them so she can regain condition without mating again and double-clutching.

First you need to decide whether or not you want baby snakes. If you do, there are several threads about incubating eggs on here.

Your girl that just laid the eggs deserves to be spoiled for awhile with a more frequent feeding schedule. She's been through a lot.

And you may want to consider separating your kids. Depending on the size of their current digs, you might be able to put a divider in the tank.

good luck to you.

I separated the kids and moved the eggs to an environment where they will be safe for a day until I can get something more permanent in place. Thanks for your input.
