T+ Nic Boas

Had purchased this pair of '08 T+ Nics, awhile ago, but picked them up, from the Hamburg show, on the 28th of Feb. Saved me from having to wait, even later, for better shipping weather in order to get them.
Cannot express how ~thrilled~ I am to have these two!:crazy02:
Not only are they simply awesome but I was really pleased to find that they are rather docile young'uns too ... although the male did express his dislike, of the camera, by striking at it when it was up close (the only time I have seen any defensive-aggressive behavior from him).

They will just get more beautiful the older they get.

No names, yet, but I will, eventually, come up with something.

'Course, with hets, you can have some down the road.
Guess it depends on how long you wish to wait.

What does the T+ mean exactly?

It means Tyrosinase-Positive.
Tyrosinase (an enzyme) is one of the building blocks in the production of melanin.
The Boas, of this coloartion, are, actually, called T+ Albinos.
T+ Albino is not the most fitting name for this morph. Genetically speaking, it can open up a whole can of worms (depending on which snake circles are discussing it and the various opinions of individuals).
So, let's just say that these Boas, which exhibit this particular phenotype, are referred to as T+ Albinos and, sometimes, referred to as Blonde T+ Albinos.
The phenotype is, primarily, of a caramel/yellowish/blonde color and there is a reduction of melanin (you'll note this in their color, the absence of a melanin wash, and the markings, which would, normally, be black, are, instead, a grey/lavender color). Some pinks are noted as well.

They look sort of peachy orange in the pics, is that true to color?

Their colors, in the photos, may not be "exact spot on" (given the nature of photos, lighting, etc.), but are pretty accurate. Both are the color shown and both have plenty of pink (with the female having more pink than the male) .. some of their pinks are washed out, in the photos, though.
Their tail colors are a bit more vivid, IRL, as well.
As they get older, more color will come in. Of course, some coloration has, already, come in because, as hatchlings, they are more of a pale lavender & pink coloration.

They sure do. When I took them out of their container, at the show, I was ~really~ impressed.
Had seen photos, of them, before (that were sent to me) but that was when they were younger ... they look even better, now, and, certainly, IRL & "in hand" (out of a container).

Ok.. Thanks! So in retard terms.. They are albino, but have a little bit of melanin.. So they would be a little darker than normal ablino's. I hope thats what you meant to say. Lol

Basically, yes, this is what those, in the Boa world, say. Albinos which produce some melanin but, of course, not the full extent (due to a break down, or lack of another enzyme, in the process of melanin production).
As a side note: Albino Boas, such as Kahl strain & Sharp strain, are called T- Albinos (T negative = lacking even the first step in the process of melanin production ... which would be Tyrosinase).

Some others, usually in the colubrid world, believe that what is referred to as T+ Albino is, actually, some form of Hypo.
This, plus the issue over Tyrosinase (which all non-Amels, and even some Amels, have), etc., is where a can of worms can be opened ... everybody having their own opinions & viewpoints (viewpoints as in the way they look at something).
