Tail length and sexing

Hi, im trying to determine the sex of my snake by looking at the tail. Im kinda leaning on female right now, since it seems that the tail does taper quickly. Here are two pics i took, they prolly are not the best, but its hard to get him to hold still. Ill try to post some better pics but in the meanwhile here ya go.

Male eh, thats what i thought the first time i looked, and then after reading a bit more and looking again i came to the conculsion that it was prolly female. Now im just not sure :shrugs:

I'd say male too. Even though we can't see the tail all the way to the tip it is pretty long and seems to be the same width a few scales past the vent as it is before. It's really tricky to sex on tail judgement at first but after while it gets pretty easy and accurate, especially in real life and not from a photo.

I put 2 snows together last night for mating and once they'd finished I had to put the male back in his tub but realised that they were so similar it would be hard to pick hem appart on colour or pattern but when I picked up one's back end it was clear at a glance!

The tail is on an angle in those pics, which also makes it harder to tell for sure. From what I see, I would lean toward male, but maybe if you could get a pic looking straight at the tail, it would be a little easier to tell either way.
