I've been hideing this little guy from everyone. :) This is my yet unnamed Frilled Lizard/Dragon that I got at the last Lititz show.

For those who don't know what a Frilly is, here's a pic of a wild adult I found on Google:

What!? No pictures with the fringe out?! I demand a refund...

VERY nice acquisition. He's a cutie...don't let my daughter see him, or I might end up with a pet that actually has legs...

That lizard reminds me of the dinosaur in Jurassic Park that spits the black goo. I do really like the speckled pattern.

He doesn't frill for me, or I would get some shots. :) He's a very good little boy, and so tiny! His "personality" reminds me of my Bearded Dragons.

I figured my nails would be a distraction in the photo. ;)

And Jenni, it is my understanding that the dinosaurs that you are referring to in Jurrasic Park were in part modeled from this species. :)

Now that is one cool reptile! I was under the impression that they were a bit vicious :shrugs:
Congrats

I would name him Billy or Willy. Is he male for sure? (Lilly! Milly!) Do only the males frill? Is frilling a threat, or a territorial display? Was he super-expensive?

He sure is cute! They are such neat critters. Probably only one of a few lizards that I'd actually want to have. Congrats on the pick-up - looking forward to seeing more pics of him including the frilled pics! lol
