Tape or cable

I have commercial racks that use both. The older one has a cable, but my two newer ones came with Flexwatt tape. It would seem that the tape would provide more heat, due to the larger surface area, but all of my racks hold temps well. Personally, I'm partial to the Flexwatt.

I had the cable in some AP racks, and it worked OK. Seemed I had to run it at a higher temp to get a good temp inside the tub, mostly because of the small area of the cable. So while it worked, I wouldn't use it again.

Flexwatt is definitely my preference. Also makes it easier that you can cut it to the exact size you need and not worry about excess or not enough like can happen with cable.

yeah, i'm pretty sure I will go with the tape....just kinda wanted to know if there where any reasons not to. but it sounds like tape is pretty good
