Angolean eh?... Looks like a ball python with carpet python coloring to me. I've never heard of this before

Angolans (Python anchietae) are very similar to royals. But the price tag is wildy different ;)

They are rare in captivity because its very hard to export these from Africa. They are most unique among other pythons as they have raised conical scales, or what is known as beaded scales. They are also slightly larger than royals, but not as stocky.

The recent fad has been to cross these with roylas (the angolan ball) however it is highly frowned upon as pure Agonals are so scarce. IMO it's waste of Angolan to breed it into anything other than another Anchietae.
