I just wanted to say thank you to all the men and women who have and are serving in our country's armed forces. We appreciate your dedication and sacrafices in protecting our nation's freedom!

Thank you veterans. My grandpa served in WWII and my 2nd cousins (husband and wife) were in Iraq, he is still over in africa she came back becuase they had a baby before they left which was "given" to the grandparents to take care of until she came back. She is safely back in the U.S. and hopefully he will be back soon. Thank you everyone who has served America in any way. We appreciate it!

I served during peacetime.

My employer just this year decided to drop Veteren's Day as one of our holidays.

Thank you to every single person that ever enlisted to make sure that we have what we have today. :cheers:
 
My great grandfather served in WWI; my uncle was killed in Viet Nam shortly before they were going to send my father (his brother) over.

To those currently serving, to those that have, and to those that lost their lives serving their country, a big thank you. We appreciate all you've done and keep doing.
 
My brother just got back from Afghanistan, my father was in Vietnam, and his father was in WWII. Thanks to them, and to all veterans, especially those who didn't come home.
 
I have to say that I was a little "peeved" by the fact that I was the only house on my street with the flag out today. :cheers: to the Men and Women in uniform, yesterday AND today. Peace.

I agree whole heartedly with Gary, but I find myself disappointed with how little is done for the vet's in the US. I am suprised and disappointted to see the stores open on the 11th, and what appears to be a little attention given to the soildiers, past and present, for thier sacrifices for the freedom's that we all enjoy and take for grantted.

Thank you vets...im workin hard to keep those who follow safe. There are countless unsung heroes from this country. We should keep there memories close to our hearts
