The creature with legs...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
The only animal in my hoose with legs... and fur lol. This is Puss (in boots). She is 13 this year and still looks like a kitten. I just hope I have a good few years left with her... :shrugs:

Ah, she's precious. Makes me miss my Shadow cat. He was all black and followed me EVERYwhere. Her eyes in that first pic are crazy...

Thanks guys :) She is the only furry love in my life. The thought of not having her around for too much longer makes me so sad :(

Her eyes are starting to cloud over, I am assuming its cataracts.

Puss is gorgeous -- may many long, healthy & happy years see the two of you together yet.

My two all-black cats are now nearing the halfway mark in their own 7th years (they're brothers) and they're my first all-my-own cats ever. I wanted cats for as long as I can remember, but I'm severely allergic to cats (on my allergy test this year, the cats' mark on my arm was out of control!)...but, it didn't stop me. :) I adore my boys (Strasti is my avatar)...I can't imagine life without them...and selfishly, they're one of the big reasons I haven't had children yet! I can't imagine taking away my time with them...:p (When my mother married, my father refused to let her bring her blue-point Siamese cat Minnie with her because he was supposedly* allergic...and when she talks about Minnie, it's obvious that she feels regret that she wasn't there for Minnie during her own last few years. I couldn't bear the thought of that...thus, I've only dated men who are non-allergic...:p And, just not had kids yet...!) I have more photos of my cats -- which now include Aleph, my half-feral orange & white tabby (every day is Halloween chez moi!) -- than anything or anyone else in my life...;)

*The irony is that when my youngest sister, Katie -- who my father has favored since infancy (believe me, even my mother would vouch for this one!) -- wanted a cat, he allowed her to get one without a single gripe. And wouldn't you know it? Nary an allergic symptom. Go figure.

Aw, shes adorable :). I love cats. I have four of my own.

To me thirteen doesn't seem so old; but it is up there considering a lot of cats don't even make it to thirteen. Our oldest cat has made it to twenty. Sadly, he's showing us some signs that this is most likely his last year ):.

Again, beautiful animal :).
