I love these guys. The western hognoses are so adorable and they'll even talk to you sometimes! We have two others (Nozi and Gabbi) that aren't here but these are the other three. Enjoy!

Stumpy: Recently we've been wondering if Stumpy is really a girl and not a boy. He's pretty big and has grown a lot with us despite being sold to us as fully grown. I really need to learn to probe.

Lizi: One of our oldest girls but only a 2005. She's a sweetheart that hardly ever hisses at us.

Sir Hiss: This guy lives up to his name. He's perfectly fine once we get him out and have held him for a bit. It's the getting him out part that's hard - he hisses if you breathe on him!

Great photos and hogs! That picture of Sir Hiss has to be the best "hooding" shot I've seen of a hognosed. Waaaay cool shot.

Thanks - it's his favorite (and only) pose. All I have to do is open his box and he's doing that for me. It's actually kinda funny to see this little snake that's less than a foot long making so much noise. :grin01:

Well, if you ever decide to get rid of him, let me know. If I could be guaranteed to see that pose at least occasionally, I'd get one. :)

I'm about to kill my hoggie right now :p It's that time of year that hogs just want to give you an utterly hard time.

Great pictures btw, Sir Hiss is awesome.
