Crictor shed!

Last night my daughter came downstairs and told me that her snake, Crictor, was shedding. I went to check and he had just started, so we were able to watch the entire progress. It was so cool! And our first time to see it!

I thought I'd attach some Crictor pictures that we took today. No going outside anymore, it's 25 degrees! My daughter cuddled with her snake and played a game on the Nook, too. By the time pictures, cuddles, and games were done, it was time to eat!

Pretty snake, and daughter! I feel you with the getting to watch the shed, I just got to experience Isis's first shed with me today too! It's pretty amazing to watch.
 
I bought a new camera yesterday (Canon T3i) and of course I will be testing it out on my snakes and kids. I am looking forward to learning how to take awesome pictures, but for now, I'll just post some of the best of what I am currently getting.

Here is Lucifer, my snake who doesn't want to stay still. He did like his keeper's hat, though.

Overdue update! Here is Lucifer in his new cage. He was upgraded to a 36x18x12, along with Monty and Milkshake the Pueblan. He just shed a few days ago. Pretty sure he is well over 300 grams now, as I know Monty (who has always been bigger) is close to 400 grams now.

He is always a charmer with the ladies! ;)
