The new decorations are here!

The new decorations we ordered arrived today (as well as a bunch of stuff for the new aquarium.) Yay! While my boyfriend worked on the aquarium, I worked on creating a happy new home for the baby boy we are expecting. I think it looks nice. You can't really tell, but there are 5 hides in there now! We made a piece of driftwood and some plastic vine look like a tree as the focal point. There's a hammock with some hanging vine to climb up to it. Honestly, I don't think the pictures do it justice.

This is the one hide you can really see. The rest are toilet paper tubes cut in half, with extra aspen on top so they aren't noticeable.

Thank you! We're so excited. There is only one thing missing...the snake! Because of the awful weather, we are not sure when he'll arrive, but now we'll be ready for him.

Thank you. When the new baby arrives, I will be sure to take pictures. We are hoping for him to come next week Friday, but that is only if the weather cooperates. I don't know the first thing about shipping snakes, so I am going by what the breeder thinks is best. We just want him to be safe. I know that once he goes into his new home, he should feel nice and secure now. I just hope we don't have too much trouble finding him with all the hiding spots we made.
