Third Hookup of the year!

I said I was going to give Medusa a break this year, but she is in excellent shape and, well, I changed my mind. I decided to give my little light anery mot Achilles a go at her. She's het anery and he's het hypo, so expecting a nice varied clutch from them. Just took quick pics, nothing special. I'm kind of multitasking today but did want to document their hook up...

Here they are, not very cuddly. I have to say she doesn't look too impressed.

Didn't get much of a money shot... Almost!

They look nice together. I bet they will have some awesome babies! Congrats and I look forward to seeing those babies. :)

WOW!!! That is one heck of a light anery. You ever tested that guy for the dilute gene?

Thanks, Jeff!
I really have nothing to test him against, but I wouldn't be surprised. I got him as a female anery striped motley and she turned out to be he. When I got him he was black and with time he has turned into a ghost looking snake. I have looked at his sheds and it is hard to see any black pigment on them.
Here's a couple of better pictures from December, second pic was when he was younger

That is a smokin snake!!! WOW! I may have to pick up some hets from him to see what is going on. What genes have you tested him for??? Is he proven anery A?

He has bred once last year as a two year old to an anery mot female, I got anery mots and ghost mots. One of the anery mots was very light, susang has him now, maybe she can post a pic. I was hoping to get stripes in that clutch but didn't. I'm putting that female with a stripe this year to test her hets...

I found pics of when I first got him... The thing with the test breeding last year is I also bred that female to another male (my het cinder) and most of the clutch was not motley and therefore not fathered by this snake. About 5 anery mots in the first clutch, the rest were Zephyr's. And two ghost mot after she double clutched (without being reintroduced to any males)
This year. Murphy willing, I should have plenty of his babies because Medusa has big clutches, though ;)

Thank you... unfortunately Medusa is not het for Motley, so I will get a bunch of het mots. I could put him with the anery mot again and repeat the same breeding from last year, as that female has still not been paired with anything, but I already have done another pairing that I will be getting anery mots from, so I don't want to end up with too many. (If Jeff said he'd buy the whole clutch as out of eggers I'd do it though ;))

Dang I put the pics in the wrong place but here they are again:

Thanks for posting that, Susan
I just noticed he has his daddy's head pattern!
And just 'cause nobody is going to believe that's an anery, I'm pretty sure the first pic is Susan's snake shortly after hatching last summer (I was looking at the patterns to make sure and they look right) and the second pic is the same snake around December last year.
