Third WRE 2012 pickup. (Mandarin Ratsnake)

Tavia

Elemental Exotics
Completely lucked out on this guy, was again the only Mandarin rat at the Expo and in addition was male! Only happened to see him on my third pass of the table he was on. Some of the people manning the table were not terribly happy about him selling. He's likely an 2011 and is a good bit bigger than our female. Also currently without a name.

Thanks! Hopefully he and Inara will make lots of healthy pretty babies down the road!

Very cool snake. These are at the top of my want list, for when I can finally afford such things...LOL

Hopefully you won't have to wait that long but I'd give you a good deal on some of their future hatchlings! ;-)

Fed this guy for the first time yesterday and he ate right off. Love my Asian rats! They are all such enthusiastic eaters! Decided to name him Malcolm, our female is named Inara so that seemed appropriate. Snapped a few pictures when we got him out to eat.

I really like both of ours. Loving Malcolm, he is a complete pig and is very fun to tong feed. He's not aggressive at all.

Unfortunately it's going to be quite awhile. Inara is an early 2012, I believe. She is a good bit smaller than Malcolm.

Today was sunny and warm without being too hot, so I wanted to get some good pictures of Malcolm here but of course he was very blue and uncooperative! But I took a few anyway.
