Can someone tell me what kind is it?

Well.. I'm partial to Latin. Maybe Nix [literally, "snow"]? Or, if you want really literal: Vipera [snake]?

really random, but thanks for the price heads-up, petco is my best option if I do get a snake x]

Yeah, from what I can tell it looks like a nice Snow Corn. I would personally name my first snake something personal yet deep, something that you can use to connect to them. But thats just me :)

i bought him or her for $45 for the snake only

its a nice snow but i am sorry to say, you payed a little to much... a little snow like that would usually go for around 25-30 $'s...

My first snakes name is lucy. It was completely random, but it stuck.

Name it whatever comes to mind when you see it. Some things just LOOK their name. if you don't see it, go ahead and pick a random name..

Ah, but you did get a good price because you didn't have to pay shipping. :) Enjoy your new friend!

How about Uno ;) You could pick a theme from a cartoon, cultural or novel series you like and start selecting names. No need to rush as the snake doesn't have to get used to it's name like our typical furry friends. Congrats on your new snakie.

That is funny... That is how most of mine got there name.... One is named AC short for Alabama Corn, because I found her where I live and I couldnt think of a name...

Pretty snow (P.S.) sounds good to me

that wouldn't make a difference because at shows they usually run about $25-35 so shipping wouldn't make any difference there.

...$25 plus $40 for shipping is still $20 more than what he paid for the snake.... 0_o

Hamsterboy: all of my animals have pretty random names. Usually something just jumps out at me....sometimes it takes a few days, but I'll find myself calling them something and it'll just stick. That's how my kingsnake ended up being called Frank. :)

he didnt PAY shipping he bought it from petco.............

OBVIOUSLY. All I was saying is that he still saved money over ordering from a breeder because he didn't have to pay for shipping. And not everyone is lucky enough to live near a show. Or patient enough to wait for a snow. Or optimistic enough to KNOW that what they want will be at the show. YEESH. Dropping out now, don't want to derail Hamsterboy's thread.

but the raw price of the snake is 25 and he payed 40 for the raw price so it is overpriced. If he would have payed the same raw price + shipping he would have been looking at $80 total. Either way what he payed more than market price.

Now, lets get back on the subject of the thread, shall we?

Okay yes he could of waited until a show but he wanted "that snake" so I would say the price was right. Just because someone paid more doesnt mean it isnt worth that to them. Market price on corn snakes vary so much and from breeder to breeder. Ceduke was just trying to explain that. I think you guys wave links were off.

So does it have a name yet....
