Tim and Danny Just Left....

Cohabbing is cruelty...
a little while ago. Tim66/corns and Danny819 came for a visit today, along with Danny's 2 wonderful little girls. We had lunch at Cracker Barrel, then came back to my snakeroom, where Tim got to meet Beacon for the first time. He will be taking her home perminantly after she's gravid. We had a great day talking about snakes, hets, future acquitsions, plans, etc. I LOVE hanging out with people who speak "snake"!
Oh, and Danny brought me a present! Tim told him I was thinking of getting a Florida King, and Danny had a rescue girl he wanted to rehome. He told me that at first he thought she was a brooksi, but the paperwork from the rescue has her listed as a "patternless goini". I KNOW what she is, just plain GORGEOUS! She's amazingly mellow and not headshy or whippy at all. Her name is Maytag.

Many many pics to follow (but I have to go out so it won't be til tomorrow)

Sounds like ya'll had fun! Will wait patiently for pics... of the kids, the snake-licking, Beacon and Tim's new LTR!

I WILL get pics up sometime today. I just soldered holes in Maytag's tub and moved her into her new home. Because she was unexpected, I had no suitable place for her and the poor big girlie spent the night in a 15qt sterlite. She didn't fuss though, just sat there all night looking calm and beautiful. I ran out last night and got her a proper sized home right before the storm hit, but didn't get the chance to solder in air holes til this morning. She's now in a 40qt, and MUCH happier. As much as I love my corns, I can definately see the attraction of a good kingsnake. I've had her less than 24 hours, and I am head over heels for her already....she is exactly what I wanted, but calmer and sweeter than I ever expected!
