Can I ask, do you keep that "collar" on him at all times? I would be worried about the metal heating up sooo much when hes basking and it burning him....
 
Yes - it stays on all the time..

She has worn one for over a year now and I have monitored it very closely.. It doesnt heat up at all - its funny that it doesnt..

Also - I made sure there is nothing her viv that the chain can get caught one and when she is out - she is never left alone because of dogs or her finding a hiding spot.

Also - I was wondering if it would rust but being bath chain - it doesnt.

She doesnt even know its there.. Now when I take it off - she looks naked :laugh:
 
Lol - I was just thinking - why does everyone refer to her as a boy!! I've been getting it alot.. My poor little girl. Ha ha ha.. Though if I take her out with me - most can see she is a girl because there is a pink flower on her chain :)
