to buy or not to buy...

LOL I didn't realize that I had so much willpower....but maybe it's because I didn't find this place until much later :) I bought my daughter's snake in Aug 2001, bought Kieran in Nov 2001 and didn't buy another snake until Dec 2006.... I was such a good person. I had plans to add three to four this year, but none of those plans came to fruitation. I think I'm just too dang picky :)

Measley, I never thought I would say such a thing...but...good luck on NOT getting the scholarship!!!!

Lol! I know! But at least I'll have something to make me feel better if I don't get the scholarship!!

I thought I was all done myself, except for keepers. But then Festivus had his accident. He's due to shed, will be off meds this week, but hasn't eaten. He is not out of the woods yet.
But now I have my eye on one of Rich's amber bloods. I can't afford it right away, what with Festy's vet bills that are rapidly stacking up, and the holidays right around the corner.....but....one of those in either sex will ensure my project goes on, even if Festivus doesn't make it. And they are honey-colored perfection....

I really hope Festivus is ok.. I'm glad he's made it this far and he's almost done with the meds... I'm hoping and praying he will eat for you soon.

Thank you SO MUCH! :)

I bought it!! :p I was going to wait to hear back about the scholarship but I went to the pet store because my friend wanted to pick up some koi and this guy was on sale for $60.00 but the manager said again that he would sell it to me for $50.00. I was worried that somebody else would get him and my friend told me that I should get him now and that I could just keep it at her house and she would be happy to take care of it so my boyfriend would only have 2 of my snakes to watch if I do go to Japan.

I couldn't pass it up so I go it!

Thanks for your support everyone and I will be posting photos in the photo gallery soon!! :)

Tell me about it!
I'm STILL trying to figure out how to afford an amber bloodred, pay for it without hubby finding out how much it was, and getting it through the door.....

If I can do this, it will be my 33rd snake total...

Lol- I wish you luck with that!! Is your hubby as into snakes as you? I admire PJ and Jay that they are snake lovers! Think of how easy it would be to bring in new snakes all the time!!! :p

Hi all :)
My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy for going from one snake to 3 in about 5 months.
What do you all think? To buy or not to buy? :)

ummm.I would probably buy it....I went from getting one Yellow rat snake...to getting 5 corns (and I am getting one more on tuesday from PJC Reptiles)..all in less than 5 months...more like 3 if that...so I might be a bad influence...lol...:crazy01:but if you want it...and have the means to keep it..go for it!
Even if they do replace it...at least you saved one...

The hubby is not into snakes...at all! But he puts up with my addiction, most of the time. Trouble is, he thinks 32 snakes (25 corns, 7 rosy boas) are enough!

:cheers:SINGLE!!!

:cheers::cheers:Answer to no one!!:cheers:

:cheers:Have as many snakes as I want!!

Oh Nanci,
We all know that is sooo untrue!

You answer to Dilbird :) (Is that how you spell his name, or is it Dillbird?)
