My snake is about 3 months old and will digest one pinkie within 4 hours. I fed him 2 pinkies last time I fed him and it left a buldge in his belly for less than 24 hours. I was reading around about power feeding and what it is. I dont want to hurt him by feeding him too much, but he has taken all the food I have given him like a champ. Im thinking about feeding him 2 pinkies every 4 days. Does anyone think this is too much? I would like to have a big healthy snake. Thanks.
 
It is highly unlikely that your snake has completely digested a pinky in 4 hours. I don't even digest that fast! I think two pinkies every four days is too much. If you want to feed two pinks, feed every 5-6 days. You will have a big, healthy snake as long as you feed him regularly. If you feed him more often, he may grow faster, but won't necessarily be a bigger adult than he would have been on 7 day schedule.
 
If he is pooping 4 hours after eating, he is pooping out his last meal that he took. I highly doubt he is digesting that current meal in 4 hours.

If you are feeding two pinks, go to every 5 days, or even 6.

yes like everyone else has already said, if your snake is on a 4 day schedule and poops 4 hours after a meal its actually taking him 4 days and 4 hours to digest :)
 
WOA! Yup, he is pooping out his last meal. I found some more deposits this morning. Alright, now that I know what the hell is going on, I can continue the feeding. Thanks.

Few more pinkies and Im going to try a fuzzy :)
