Go Ahead, Make My Day!
The normal is the remaining keeper hatchling whose mother was a normal with unknown hets. The mother originally came from Tim Rainwater and was tested for snow and, I think, hypo by the breeder I purchased her from. I bred her last year to an amel stripe het hypo, getting all normal offspring as well. Unfortunately, the mother had developed an abscess shortly after mating. I was only able to treat it topically due do her being gravid, but it seemed to be healing and she continued to eat. After laying her clutch, the abscess returned and she was started on injectable and topical antibiotics. She ate a couple of meals post-laying and was tolerating her medication well, or so it seemed, but she passed suddenly by the 3rd week post-laying. I'm going to have fun pairing this little girl in the future to perhaps be able to find out if her mother actually had any other hets. I know the odds are bad, but you never know.
The lavender is possible het hypo and her belly checks are very similar to those you might find on a het bloodred, so guess what she'll be bred to in the future...
