Figured I would make this somewhat easier to access (but lower quality) using a YouTube link.

This is the first Ultramel Charcoal I have hatched out. The parents were Ultramel het Charcoal and Caramel X Blizzard het Caramel. There is at least one Butter in that clutch, but not visible in the video.

Sorry, I had to remove that original thread I made. It was breaking up in the audio and causing some server load problems. Sheesh, it was only a 13 meg video file!

Oh well, this YouTube version works out OK, I guess...

Great snake Rich. Question? With the genetic make-up of the parents did you happen to get a Charcoal Goldust in the mix? If so, can we see a pic or can they not be identified that easily?
Jay

What would a Charcoal GoldDust look like? Honestly I'm just guessing that the animal pictured is an Ultramel Charcoal. If it is also homozygous for Caramel (which is certainly a possibility), I don't believe I would be able to tell for certain. Since Charcoal likely overpowers Caramel, you may not even be ABLE to tell visually.

Now your talking Rich.... Are you going to start posting the stuff you have been hiding for years?? *lol*

You can send me that ultramel charcoal thingy if you must.. *LOL* I have liked ultra based for a long time anyways, and well it would have a good home with me..

Well, as I have mentioned before, there are going to be NO keepers this year. That does include all the new stuff that pops out this year. By necessity, of course, some of the stuff is going to have question marks on the label.

Curiosity has the better of me Rich... Had a chance to sex it? Just kicking tires right now...

Nope. And I just found another one in another clutch. I guess when the dust settles, I'll have a few of them to sell....

Looks for a hankerchief to wipe the drool from the corner of my mouth...

Dayum...

I've been videotaping the babies, but honestly, I don't think any babies really look presentable until they have their first shed skin. But once I get to the point where I'm going to be shipping out orders for the 2009s (which should be REAL SOON), I just may not have much time to be slinging the camcorder around.... Sometimes I want to get some video of a clutch, but when I pull off the lid to the egg incubating container and they all pull a Chinese fire drill, well there goes THAT idea....

Funny how they look at you with bright eyes, and tounge flickers, then its like evul genius hits them and they become exploding slinkies going every wheres..

The first shed is all ways amazing, and everyone after for the next year or so...
