Ventral Scale Discoloration

My snake recently went off feed for approx. one month but has since eatten yesterday. During that month I noticed my snake has some strange crustiness between the belly scales. Its not between all the scales but is located in three specific areas mid-body. I thought he was going to shed but has shown no signs. The snakes behavior has not changed but I am still concerned. Does anybody have any suggestions

it may be caused by high humidity in your viv, specifically your substrate since that is what your snake has the most contact with. It may also be a fungal disease or infection. My best advice would be to take him into a local vet. That your snake was off food for a month could be a number of things. It can confirm that there is defintily something "not right" with it, or it could just confrim that your snake is a male. In that case its fairly common for males to ease off their feeding routine during the breeding season.

Are you able to get a picture of it? You might save some money if someone here knows what the problem is and can give you some methods to cure it. :)
