Video: Hatchling Hoggy Playing Dead

This is a little Western Hoggy hatchling, from the Tri-Color twins' breeder.

Isn't he so funny?

Nanci

That's really, really cute. Is that one of your's? You would think that a predator might notice the slightly flickering tongue, though...no?

Still a cute video...

That is too funny! I thought the same thing about the tongue flickering, that's the only thing that makes it look alive....man, would be fun if corns did the same thing..lol

No, he's with the breeder. He doesn't really have playing dead quite perfected yet. I wish my Eastern did that! I think he hatched Friday or so.

LOL! I loved the little tongue flicks. Almost appears like he enjoyed the belly rubs. :grin01:

That was cool video, I liked how it looked as if the hoggie was dying slowly - as if each touch slowly killed it! lol. The flickering tongue is slightly distracting though.

goodness, you must be some miracle worker, training you snake to roll over and play dead! does he fetch too??
