Hey - I know this is slightly off topic but this is a very active community and I respect the input that people provide.
I'm a new snake owner - got my first corn about 5 months ago and all is well. I received her as a baby and she has grown quite a bit. I have her housed in a 20g long and am wondering if she will ever outgrow the tank? I ask because I am receiving a red-tail boa within the next few days from someone who cannot take care of it and she is about 4 feet long and housed in a 20g long which looks quite small for her. I was thinking about upgrading to a 40g breeder or should I go bigger? I've looked at some of the specialty cases but they are way too expensive for me at the moment.
Will the 40g breeder be big enough to house my boa for at least a couple years? I was thinking about going with a 40g breeder and then once I upgrade to a bigger viv for my boa - my corn could be placed in that. Will my corn feel secure in a 40g breeder when she's full grown? Or will the 20g long be enough?
