Viv is too hot >.<

The heat mat needs to be around one-third the area of the tank floor, so go for whatever size will fit the tank you have. A thermostat made to work with a heat mat, will work with any size of heat mat.
 
Yeah, but you can always put the viv over less than the whole of a larger mat. Those Zoo Med smalls are really too small even for a 10gallon.
 
Sorry - I wasn't really taking measurements into account - was more curious on the type/brand of the mat. I will get something to match my tank.

And I guess I fail at inserting links.... That thermostat was the one I was looking at xD
