Viv question....

Hello! I'm going to be buying Brody my 2yr old corn a new viv and i was looking at some off a website and i was wondering if it would be suitable. This is what it says
Made from one piece moulded plastic with built in adjustable vents and sliding glass doors, is suitable for most herps but is ideal for semi aquatic and rain forest species as the moisture will not cause the vivarium to rot as with wood based vivariums. The base of the vivarium will hold water if required.
The Vivarium front is angled to allow better viewing while still maintaining as large floor area as possible

Thanx in advance.
:)

I couldnt tell you if it will be suitable for your snake or not, The main thing that is mandatory for a viv is "no escape holes" sometimes you think the snake cant get out. but if there is a way, the snake will definatly find it. so make sure it is 200% escape proof. I would like to see the viv that you are talking about, what site did you find it on?

best thing to do would be to post pictures of the new viv on here or link to pics so that people can see what you are talking about. And, you might get lucky and find someone on here that has used them in the past and can provide first hand experience.

Is that the one you mean? it has a full length ventilation strip on the back wall. If you will have this up against a wall it may not be enough. Best to have a vent on either side an unobstructed.
Like what was said before, snakes are escape artists and will get out of most anything so be very carefull there.
