How is your tank/viv set up?
I used to have an under tank heater, but it would get so hot that the adhesive melted and wouldn't stick... so I tried duct taping it on and that of course failed miserably. I've since only used a heat lamp, which comes on during the day and turns off at night.
Casper spends the majority of the time behind a false wall, or in a hollow tree stump in his tank. I make sure he always has water and he's always had intact sheds.
I was wondering though, how important is temperature moderation? I've never had a thermometer on either Casper nor my bearded dragons tanks, and their lights are either on or off, there's no way to control the settings.
Casper is still active and seems fine, but is he?
