Hi there. I am new to the forums (just signed up a couple days ago) and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I just got my first corn snake a week ago (I am absolutely dumbfounded that my mom let me get one) and have been browsing this forum a lot, reading up on all the great advice.
These forums are fantastic, and I am looking forward to being a part of them and getting to know everyone.
And with that, I should probably finish this, as I am at work right now. ;)

I had an amel named Oberon once, along with a snow named Titania. Can't recall seeing anyone else with the name for their snake. :)

P.S. i am the cross dressing man that CAV posted a picture of but, those shoes dont fit anymore so dont worry...i got new gold colored pumps intstead!!!

TOM: Cross-dressing hmm? Sounds like you must be great fun at parties. ;) I'll have to look up that thread and check it out, if just for the sight of a man in drag. ;)

HURLEY: I spent hours trying to come up with a good name for the little one, looking through a lot of mythology names, and finally it hit me: Oberon. I was thinking about the old Disney cartoon Gargoyles at the time, and I have always loved the name, so I decided that I just had to use it. I will be a little disappointed if I find out it's actually a girl, and have to change the name. ;)

MBDORFER: Yes, I have been browsing through these forums since last week, and have definitely noticed the amount of fun being had by all.

GRONK: And all the information here has been very helpful!

I am looking forward to getting a good pic of Oberon to share with everyone.
