Found a new little guy/girl tonight and just couldn't resist. What do you think? Miami? We didn't ask about sex really so just based on the tail, boy or girl? Haven't come up with a name just yet. We may give it a bit of time and see what fits him/her... or maybe stick with the hurricane theme? Who knows...

(Sorry for the flash, I just snapped a couple of quick pics before putting him in his new viv to let him settle.)

That is a very nice normal with fabulous borders! Do you see the faint orange dots along the spine in between the saddles? Those will grow and develop more orange ground color, so that one is not a Miami.

That is going to be a stunning adult though!

Yep, I see what you are talking about. Kinda was hoping for a Miami, but definitely happy with a good normal too. Now to figure out the sex and a good name. :)

You will have to post progression pics.
S/he will definitely have the Okeetee-like borders. I think s/he will be in between the normal orange coloring and a Buckskin. I don't think yours will end up with this much tan ground color.

I'm a sucker for thick borders, that one is going to be stunning, regardless.

Got a better picture tonight of him/her out exploring his/her viv. I was really happy with this picture since it was with flash and through glass to boot. Two more days until we feed and then we get to wait some more before we handle *sigh*.

I'm wondering if that one was part of a Miami Okeetee project. The ground looks Miami-ish, but you can see the orange bleeding through, along with the thick borders and saturated colors, I wouldn't be surprised if that one shows aspects of both.

I hope you post progression pics on this one!

I will definitely do a progression thread on him/her (that is going to drive me crazy... gotta find someone experienced that can help me figure out the sex so I can give him/her a proper name haha). Can't wait to be able to really handle it the first time. :)
