Website Creating Software for Morons....is there any?

Hey I saw that pic!
You could take a gator, easy!

(If the old man can't find software to suit him...I mean me....and I use webs.com, you'd give me pointers maybe?)

I could do it, but I'd have to get the $250/year permit, and kill the gator on site and "harvest" it myself. Not something I'd be willing to do.

I'm another one who uses FreeWebs. People who know a bit about computers seem to complain about it, but for someone like me who barely knows how to turn a computer on...It's been great!

Not sure if I am the Jen you meant, but I also like the freewebs (now just Webs I gurss) as far as being easy to edit, free and you can also upgrade them. I have noticed a few members here use them - If I can do it anyone can!

Yup, you're exactly the Jen I meant! Now if I said Jen the Avon Lady you might have known right away! (I'm such a troublemaker)
I am going to go that route unless the old man can find something better. He's spent HOURS looking for something that works. He spent all his downtime at work the last 2 days (and this time of year in the shop, MOST of the day is downtime), and he even missed Sarah Connor and Dollhouse last night and stayed up past his bedtime downloading and trying free trials. So far he's hated everything he's seen.....

LOL that is so catchy, I would probably use it if it didn't infringe upon Avon's copyright.

Well, other than the free stuff. there are members here that are really good at making websites, trade a snake for some help?
Can't wait to see your site!

One of the prizes in the photo contest is a $25 gift certificate towards design services from TripleMoonsExotic. ;)

I use the Freewebs site too. It's very easy to use and has the great option of being free! LOL Bad thing is, I have a degree in computer information systems and website building/design and chose to use a free site. Pretty sad huh? Any way--I just updated my site yesterday with all of this years breeding pairs with pics. See--http://www.freewebs.com/beckysvivarium/ Is this cosidering a pitaful attemp to get you guys to go look at my site? :grin01:

Hi,

Well, I just actually created a website for my racing. I used godaddy.com. Um, a friend and I did it. Our first time. He did alot of the tutorials, but once you got the basics down. Its really not that hard.

Here's my website, www.trentstephens.com.

Sorry if this was already put in here. I didnt have time to read through it all.

Well we updated to NetObjects Fusion 11, and it was completely bug-free.
After renaming a page and adding a few more photos to the gallery, my website should be launching sometime today or tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who tried to help me. I really do appreciate it :)

I have dreamweaver right now but there is a lot to learn, so i dont know how long it will take to produce a website. I was woundering on freeweb.com i noticed the site name allways has feeweb on it. Does it make it hard for someone to google your site will it even come up on a google search? I guess if you sell corns on your freeweb site, and some one put in corn snakes for sale will you site come up on the search.

Bill has always used FrontPage for my site as well as his. He has found it easy to use and likes it just fine. But I would like to add a shopping cart feature for my books and supplies (but probably not live animals - I like to discuss those purchases first). Does anyone have any suggestions for just the shopping cart feature? Especially, a shopping cart program that would work well with FrontPage? Although free is great, I am willing to buy the program if it works great and is easy or intuitive to learn.
