Dragonling
Doesn't do "casual"
All but the babies got weighed today while meals are thawing out in the kitchen. Don't mind the water stains, they're mostly on the outside so I don't bother with them. I wipe down the inside and brim with chlorhexidine in between.
Zulu has hit the 100g mark. Won't be long now til she's on small mice!
Apparently the last time I weighed Delta, she was holding some extra poo. She's nearly gained 100g since her arrival 5 months ago, perhaps a testament to the goodness of Reptilinks? She loves 'em, but is back on mice now since I've decided the extra fuss of converting is just not worthwhile. I may eventually buy 25g links only for my females that like them, particularly for recovery after laying.
Juliett has nearly doubled in weight since she arrived...
...as has Felicity, who is starting to get better about handling. No bites for a while now, but quite a few angry rattles. She's so bright!
London is bigger than when she arrived. I'm still unsure if she's going to lay or has just gotten REALLY big really fast. Another link eater...perhaps they're just that good? She has a lay box for now just in case. I wouldn't mind more hypo lavenders!
India is recovering well from laying and has regained her appetite. She's only 20g shy of her pre-lay weight, and will hopefully be in good condition to actually be bred for the first time next year.
Foxtrot is inching towards 400g. I think he won't get as big as some of these monster corns you see sometimes, but he's still a big strong boy.
Charlie is finally getting some size on him. He arrived weighing 9g at about 5 months old. He'll be 1 year in October and is now much closer to a normal weight for his age. He's getting ready to shed, so I expect him to actually weigh closer to 46g.
Sierra is finally gaining weight, having dropped under 200g after laying and a regurge. She is still being treated for a RI and has become my second most expensive snake after racking up almost $1000 in vet bills. If anyone wonders why I'm struggling with rack space...I was expecting to be able to buy another rack by now. Always expect the unexpected I guess!
Grab your sunglasses folks...Tango is red hot! 148g is pretty good for almost 13 mo. old!
