Oculus is cute!

A couple of suggestions.

First, corn snakes need belly warmth. I would replace the lamp with an under tank heater and thermostat.

Second, while his enclosure looks good, he needs more places to hide. I use empty toilet paper or paper towel tubes. They are cheap and my snakes love them.

I totally agree on the hiding suggestion. The snake needs places to feel save in. The best would be hidings on the warm and on the cool side of the viv.

Heating with lamps is quite common in Germany. The idea is to immitate the nature, were sunlight (and warmth) comes from above, not below. I know there are lots of discussions about pros and cons of both forms :p . In my opinion, this decision should be left to every owner himself.

But there should be a thermometer and a hygrometer. You need to control, if you've got the viv climate right.

Thanks for the replys.

Ye im thinking of getting a few things tomorrow to make him probably another 2 or 3 hides.

What he usually does is he burries himself :D So i guess he needs hides.

Thinking of the TP rolls and cutting a 2 L of coke in half long ways and burring it a bit and covering it with the soil/moss stuff already in the viv.

I will get a thermostat and hygrometer as soon as I can. I dont mind spening the money on him, love him to bits already :D

Again thanks for the replys and advice, its really appreciated.
